TTI Group Ltd specialise in providing surface Engineering and Heat Treatment Services and Solutions to all major industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Defence, Rail, Oil & Gas, Tool & Die, Construction and Power Generation. TTI Group provide a very wide range of treatments to metals from seven sites located throughout the UK.

TTI Group Ltd is owned by the Dutch organisation Aalberts Industries N.V., and is part of the Group Material Technology Division within Aalberts. The Aalberts Group operates over 55 similar Heat and Surface Treatment sites throughout Europe, providing services and solutions to all major OEM’s.

Metallurgical Specialists

All TTI Group plants are staffed by experienced metallurgists and fully trained technical staff. TTI operates an intensive technical training programme for staff who are assessed on a regular basis and awarded a certificate to acknowledge their progress and achievements.

As part of a wider integration process between the surface treatment and heat treatment companies within Europe, TTI Group has been in collaboration with its UK sister company Acorn Surface Technologies for many years. This brings an additional range of surface treatment possibilities to the TTI customer base.

TTI Group and Acorn Surface Technology, part of the Group Materials Technology Division of Aalberts Industries, is also able to support customer activities across Europe. This is achieved through an extensive network of surface treatment and heat treatment plants.

Whether it is Low Pressure Carburising, PVD Coating, Plasma Nitriding, Nitrotec® or a Vacuum heat treatment process, TTI can fully meet your expectations and requirements. Please contact us and ask for advice and a quotation.

TTI Group also offer a Metallurgical Consultancy service to those requiring expert advice from many of the knowledgable Metallurgists within TTI. If you want an opinion from an experienced team we are happy to discuss the options you may have to find a solution to your problem. Consultants are charged at an hourly or daily rate.

Competence, Awareness and Training

TTI Group recognise the crucial contribution our employees have in impacting upon the overall service we deliver.

From the point of designing job roles through the recruitment process to induction, training and periodic review, we have, and continue to give, careful consideration to staff development.

Completion of modules within our own vocational training qualifications programme, supported by on the job/off the job instruction has allowed TTI to develop strong areas of business competency.

Our production staff are supported by a team of engineers, metallurgists and process specialists engaged in ensuring customer orders are processed correctly.

Customer Service

TTI have established processing facilities in strategic locations around the United Kingdom, which enable us to offer a fully comprehensive Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment service countrywide. Serving a growing base of over 4,000 engineering organisations, we continue to strive to attain high levels of customer satisfaction against rigorous self-imposed targets. Using customer feedback, we review our business activities with the aim of maintaining and improving a strong reputation for efficient and cost effective services, allowing an increasing number of manufacturers to transfer non-core activities, without detriment to production flow and giving rise to real cost benefits. The network of processing sites is serviced by our transport fleet to provide an extensive collection and delivery service.
